Detroit 4-71 diesel engine power unit for sale. Includes the engine on stand with radiator. The bellhousing on this engine is currently an SAE 2. This engine came from a backup hydraulic pump - the engine was built for this application but did not see much use at all. We did not get the control panel with hour meter with this engine but looking under the valve cover and seeing how it starts so quick it likely has less than a couple hundred hours run time. All the injectors, rack, and lines under the head look new...rockers and associated components also look new. The gasket under the valve cover was like new and leak free. The engine was covered in a pump house but the paint is very flaky. No smoke, leaks, blowby, or odd noises. On the back of the engine there is an air compressor that seems to be putting out air and a hydraulic pump (these are included and seem to be fine but we do not have any way of testing these two accessories). If you do not want the whole power unit on the frame with radiator we can also pull the engine and ship only the engine. This engine is ready to run. Please see video below.
