Please read the entire description for a summary of the work done to this engine. We started with a High Output Deutz F3L912 diesel engine. This is the strongest F3L912 you could get from the factory - it runs all the way up to 2500 rpm and makes 57.5hp. Before starting the engine we did a valve adjustment and then checked cylinder compression which came in at 340psi, 370psi, and 350psi - all cylinders have like new compression and are within Deutz tolerance between cylinders. After that we removed the injectors and pop tested them - the injectors were popping too early early so they were all replaced. The 3 new injectors were pop tested and shimmed to exactly Deutz spec of 2700 psi. Finally we removed the inspection cover on the Bosch inline injection pump and checked that the control sleeves properly rotated around the plungers - we also confirmed the rack operated correctly and smoothly. After this tune up the engine fired up immediately with strong oil pressure and no odd noises. The engine does not smoke nor does it have any blowby. This engine starts up clean, and runs well. This engine is ready to run. A 2500 RPM engine allows you to run it in many different machines including water pumps, concrete pumps, and skid steers. The engine will ship exactly as shown. Includes engine from valve covers down to oil pan, fan to flywheel. You will also get the alternator (we have not tested), a new starter, and bellhousing. This engine has an SAE 4 bellhousing - this can be changed with your bellhousing and flywheel if needed. The flywheel is drilled for SAE 8 and 10 plus the center threaded holes - you have many options on how to connect your driven unit with this flywheel.
